Hub13 provides permanent offices, co-working desks, meeting rooms, workshops and studio spaces in a uniquely repurposed sawmill. It is rurally located adjacent to Exit 13 of the N11 between Greystones and Wicklow Town in beautiful County Wicklow. Facilities include fibre optic broadband, secure parking and flexible working arrangements. It is ideally located for cycling, hill walking and is close to Newcastle beach.
Historically the sawmill was a place of design and creation in traditional crafts such as wheelwrighting, joinery and toolmaking. Huw repurposed the sawmill using his architectural and woodworking skills to preserve many of the original features. This serves to honour the skill and heritage of previous generations of O’Tooles who worked the sawmill.
While the nature of work has changed, Hub13 continues to be a place of community, industry and creativity. It is a recommended member of the Wicklow Craft Foundation and provides multipurpose studio and workshop spaces. We provide an artist in residence subsidy to help foster local creativity. Hub13 also hosts micro concerts, community events and exhibitions.
